Property Description
Step into Maryland history with Bauernschmidt Manor, a distinguished Italianate residence built in 1909 for brewer and philanthropist Frederick Bauernschmidt. This Baltimore County Historic Landmark blends timeless architecture with modern comforts, offering Four spacious bedrooms, Five ensuite baths, elegant sitting rooms, and multiple porches including a Juliet balcony overlooking the saltwater pool. Enjoy breathtaking water views from the cupola, lush professional landscaping, and the cool breezes off the bay. Community beach and boat access add to the lifestyle. Once a licensed Bed & Breakfast, the home retains that potential with all ensuite bedrooms. Rich with stories—Presidents Harrison and Cleveland once hunted here—this property also provides valuable historic tax incentives. Recent upgrades, furniture conveyance options, and carriage house plans make this a rare opportunity to own a piece of Maryland’s heritage, beautifully updated for today’s living.
